Poe

After the previous Poe painting I wanted to use that in a scene which eventually became this. Basically everything is a nod to some or other Poe story like 'The raven', Narative of Arthur Gordon Pym, Mask of red death, Murder in Rue morgue. the gold bug, the black cat, the pit and the pendulum, premature burial, telltale heart, cask of Amontilado, etc.
